I locked the pins so it is in 16 valve "vtec" mode. out of vtec, the A2 is only 12 valves up til around 2000-2500 rpms. You are wasting money converting it. Just grab some vtec pins from any d16z6 or d16y8 engine, some assembly lube, and get basically a very slight camshaft increase over the nonvtec. in what state is tufts university located
